    I've had this a few times as well. I believe the thermister comes apart and gives poor temperature comtrol so damaging the belt.
    Check the thermister. It should not be separated at the contact end.

    As Zeldaman and Teebee1234 said, it is a unique code relating to that copier.
    As far as I know all Ricoh digital colour copiers have produced it. The pattern is only visible using a magnifying glass.
