There were many models before those. How could you forget the 1020?
He offered the patent to IBM and they turned him down.
Thank you Blackcat. You're the best. Hope to return the favor one day.
Yes. I'm pretty sure the triacs are the problem. Thermistors checked out good but I replaced them anyway just to be certain. I just need a part number so I can find a power supply PWB.
Yea, did that.
Working on a 282. Don't normally do Toshibas but its a request from a good client. Have a C430 code. Everything in the fuser checks out good. So I'm thinking power supply. Need the part number...
Searched high and low. Can't find a parts manual for the E Studio 282. Need the part number for the power supply.
In my 36 years as a tech I find the current crop of HP printers to be one of my greatest disappointments in a manufacturer. For the past 3 years it seems as though everything with the HP logo is...
Does it ever occur when printing or copying? If not I would think it's an issue with the senders fax.
The polygon motor in the laser if failing. You need to replace the laser.
If the motor is running for an extended period before the code appears you need to replace the fusing assembly.
God, that was a bad box when it was new!!!
Does it have the new style thermistors? Air flow around the machine? Fans in exit unit functioning as they should?
How far off are they?
What happens if you adjust the exposure?
What have you done? Is your lamp coming on? Any error codes?
No, just using PCL.
Installed a MX-NB10 network box on a MX-M200D. (first time doing this) Down loaded drivers from Sharp web site but all it prints is garbage. As if they are the wrong drivers. Tried down load from...
I think you have a software issue. Especially since it's happening on more then one machine. If the computer said print to the top and it printed to the bottom the result would be a paper jam.
...
Are all of the print jobs being sent from the same computer?
To be clear, it's on the guides after the print/copy exits the fuser?
Good call Iky. For some reason I'm seeing it all the time recently.
On the print that jams, is the registration proper?
"Toner Games" LOVE IT!!
B.S. The toner sensor in the developer unit is totally independent of the drive motors. Low toner = call for new cartridge. You may have gotten lucky, but the drive motor had nothing to do with it.
