Have you checked to see if the image is being printed on the drum? Is it a image issue or a transfer issue? HV contacts? Coronas? Need to narrow it down alittle for us.
Can you post samples? You said not every page so how often? A three inch strip where, lead, trail middle? Does orientation of paper make a difference?
First question is why are you messing with twain scanning? To my knowledge it is USB only and it is pull scanning. Why not use Scan to SMB? Search the site for SMB and youll find many posts.
Util/Count Meter Details Stop,0,0,Stop,0,1. Should be under State Confirmation I think.
Failed HDD
It was an option on all three. On the 7030 it was in the print controller. Deppending if it has it they did switch to CF cards in the Print controller due to the HDD's failing.
You will get a report. It will have the exam grade as well as a rating of the tech in each area of training, mechanical, electrical, operations, etc.. It will be a scale of 1-5 five being best.
It seems there are multiple discussions going on. As far as being able to train on aspects of the machine, yes. As far as Quark, publisher, etc... I say no. They are paying for maintanence and...
Agreed set to no limit, let their exchange manage that. As well for scanning, setting to b&w and lowering resolution will decrease file size. Sounds like there is no problem with the machine.
How are the drivers installed? Locallaly or on the seerver? It sounds like someone is sending jobs that are erroring in the print que and just leaving it, causing everything else to pile up behind...

If anyone wants the real reasons behind the switch to dark covers it is due to using recycled plastics. If they leave them a lighter color you will see the swirl marks from the recycling process. ...
What type of scanning are you trying to use? SMB, Email, FTP, Twain? Run a search on here, Scanning is pretty close on most models in the color series. Once you decide what you are trying to do...
Just a thought have you done color registration? After replacing the IU's were the proper adj ran?
Lines? Either Corona unit, fuser, drum/blade, residue in path? Can you attach a sample?
One of the big issues to think about is the service that is provided. Find machines that you like, but also look at the company. I dont care what box it is if the service is not there to back it up...
First, are all 6 comps using the same driver? Is it the same file? Are the prints done during the same time period, and not days apart? Can you attach samples? Are the comps using the same...
Two options. Eitherr turn on account track, or auth with ever you set up and turn it on in the settings of the print driver. Or in Admin set print without auth to allow.
What is the error you are getting?
mem sw 3-1 to zero as long as it is the same as the older Konicas.
The cleaning blade has a white spacer on each end, make sure one didnt fall off. Other than that if you can attach a sample could probably narrow it down better.
Yep, that would do it. What are you trying to accomplish? What passwords?
To reset it you either need to replace it, or use a chip reseter. U can allow it to continue past end of life in service mode, but this will not clear the message. I believe it is under system 1 IU...
Not sure exactly what you said, but to reset a fuser code power on while holding down, the utility/counter button and do the trouble reset. If problem returns you have a fuser issue.
