You need to change those three separation claws from the drum unit (AP Kit ), and verify the reciprocating mechanism where the claws are mounted.

Did you checked the bushings from pressure roller ? If they are used, pressure roller applies uneven force to film, causing the film to slip.

Be very careful with refill on ink cartridges... print head is very expensive. I am not sure it worth sacrifice the good quality of original inks and the problems that arise from using refill....

You can order it by Part Number to your local Canon distributor. Look in Parts Catalog at Figure 935. Pay attention to order that part number that matches your serial number of the machine, otherwise...

Also there is the option of Secure Print from printer driver.

Also, If I remember correctly, Scan thru SMB only works in the same sub-network, not thru a gateway. If you need an exit with a gateway, maybe you have to consider scan to e-mail.

E100 is laser related. But in the field I found out that the drum unit has a small piece of plastic(an actuator) that engage a switch. Sometimes I found this plastic broken .

iR 2200 can scan via network scangear only in a network environment. It cannot scan via parallel cable. The only solution is (as mentioned by yourownfree) to use a crossover network cable.

Also check the wires for erasing lamp (LED array) on AP kit, and also check the long black screw that fix a small piece of metal that engage the drum with the shaft.
