Check your max e-mail file size. You're probably set to the default of 2048. Turn it off or max it out.

with the release of Windows 2003, Microsoft removed the dcom module that scanrouter needs to map to networked folders. If you can get your hands on Windows 2000 or older, your problem is solved...

What Ricoh models are you scanning from? Older models required the custom firmware for the digital signing required by Windows 2003 (and newer).
