I have replaced the hard drive, now I have to load system software via USB Device.
Need Firmware and instruction..Button 2+8 then Download..right?

That would be the easiest way, but the hard drive is defective, the device cannot complete boot.
No acces to service mode.

Problem solved: It was the lower scanner unit.

have a problem with C5550i.
Scan & Copy display a yellow 3 cm bar.
B / W copying and scanning OK.
Internal color printouts and printouts from the PC are okay.
ITB drum as good as new.

Copy & Scan from glass & ADF both skewed see picture
exchanged whole scanunit with a working one, same issue

lines occurs on both copy&prints, black or color no difference..only P-Print is always clean.

the v marks are from me to see better the thin lines..TransferBelt replaced earlier..no luck
sometimes all good next time maybe 30 thin lines all over the prints....
