This is the method we use also. Make sure to use an encryption code or not everything will transfer.
It's the printer version of the MP5002. Solid box. No major problems. Runs dirty like all in this series.
In WIM, go to configuration. Under Scanner send settings, there is an option for "default email subject." You can select either hostname or a manually entered text.
I can't figure out how the first 5 responses were from people who apparently didn't even read the question. LOL
Browser is needed for ICE (Integrated Cloud Environment) and other solutions
You might also try the Mopria print app. I haven't tried it on anything that old but it has worked on almost everything I've tried so far.
Scan to email, having the receiving machine print all emails to that particular address
There should be 4 mylar paddles in the toner supply unit. They tend to fall off. Often they will partially block to hole where the toner goes. They are clear so it can be difficult to see them laying...
This has happened to me also. I have glued the broken pieces of the frame back together using JB Weld on 3 or 4 of these. Never had another issue after that so it seems to work ok.
How important is it to be fluent in German? Would it be possible to get a job as an English speaker with some basic German?
You are, of course, correct. But then again, these are things that any respectable tech should not have to be told...
Hard to tell from the one example, but it looks like possibly a transfer bias problem (could be on ITB or PTR). Check all of your bias terminal connections. Is the PTR clean or is there toner...
You MUST have a password protected account to use scan-to-SMB with Windows 7. Then turn on password protected sharing.
I have had several of these also. It seems the pressure roller heat lamp is bad, even though there is continuity through it. The machine will warm up initially without that lamp but sometimes the SC...
I was thinking they've been out longer, but for the sake of keeping the argument going :D, yes the hinge holders fail. I don't even know that there IS a new one because I can't tell any difference...
Glad I could help!
Cheers
There is a jumper on the back side of the connector. You will have to move one side of the jumper to a different pin on the connector. Very simple procedure, just match it to the working fuser.
Also, if you are looking on the TSRC site it is in the "custom firmware" section, not in the SD card or remote sections. Just FYI for anyone who doesn't know yet.
You've got some great recommendations already. I would add just one model. The MPC300/400 is an A4 machine and as long as you are not trying to run extreme volumes through it, it's pretty much...
I know I'm coming into this a little late but I haven't been on here in a while. I just wanted to give a little advice from experience.
If your wife really meant it when she said she will (try to)...
The sensor on the tube behind the transfer belt sometimes gets covered in toner. Especially on machines with high count. Try blowing it off with air.
Generally what we do if someone wants proof;
1. Print out a counter sheet.
2. Copy a document with color and b & w pages.
3. Print out another counter sheet and show them the counter increments.
Does anyone know how this connects to a pc? I have a customer who bought one online and wants me to make it work
I don't see any interface anywhere.
