Usually with Office365, the sender's name must be the same as the email address used for authentication. I think that will pop a 550.

I'm with copiertech on this one. An incorrect gateway won't allow you outside of the network, and incorrect DNS won't allow you to connect to the name of the offsite server. I wouldn't assume that...
I'm with AjitN- I've had this problem in the past. Print after last page spooled has worked for me multiple times.
This has worked for me:
If the machine does not have SSL capability use aspmx.l.google.com on port 25. This does not require authentication and will only allow them to email within abccompany.com....
