if I'm not mistaken.
I had this happen with a samsung machine a couple of weeks ago... I suspect it to be an Acrobat error.
My bet is the pipe assy that is blocked so the transfer unit cleaning is filled with waste toner that starts to build up on the transfer roller.
It's my experience that cleaning the mc roller on kyo printers doesn't last all that long. Replacing them is the best option and easy to do.
I had a similar case where you also had a weird noise. It turned out to be the main drive in my case.
Oh don't worry about me. I'm just a tech that gets to fix the crap the dealer sells to customers. So no money lost on my part.
The dealers solved this issue by swapping the machines with hp machines....
I replace more HDD's than feed rollers on average... So you it's very common.
As an end user be careful in the service mode. The color table does change the color output a bit, but the general quality will remain the same.
As mentioned before the darker edges is a 'thing'...
+1 on the transfer belt not passing through the toner.
I had a couple of machines where the toner pump was no longer passed black toner, but that generates a fault code. It's a bit of work to reach, but a possibility.
I had a couple of transfer belts where the roller under the transfer belt isn't being pushed up high enough to make contact.
If your imaging unit is fine I would look there.
I need to replace more HDDs than feed rollers on some types of machines.
so yeah, yet another samsung issue
if it's somewhere half way it is detected by a sensor that gives the ok for the lift plate to move. If it's up the lift plate stops going up. if it's too low the machine assumes it's in the up...
I had a couple of faulty transfer units where one of the rollers fell into the unit because the plastic holder broke. Check and / or replace the transfer unit.
It's a somewhat common fault. There's an updated part that replaces that piece with a metal hinge. The hinge and the guide plate are a separate part though. There should be a bulletin about it.
Exactly, it's one of those 'calls that happens once and you'll never forget about this' kind of calls that at first takes you an hour to fix. After that it's 5 minutes of 'oh this again'.
I agree that it's most likely a little hook that broke of the so called 'Holder LF'. The black plastic bit that holds the pulley and belt.
No need to change that.
Part numbers are totaly different as far as I can tell, so I would say no.
Every customer I see says something along the lines of 'I'm going to throw this POS out of the window one day' and despite my best tips and instructions nobody actually did this so far. :(
We...
I get about 20 different kinds of greases when I search for it in the web ordering tool, but besides that I haven't found anything useful, so I assumed there were other things as well.
Is there a 'part list' for Kyocera 'consumables'? I don't mean toners, but rather wipes, grease that sort of stuff. I sometimes come across part numbers in service bulletins, but I was wondering if...
As the title suggests. Since the takeover by HP all the service manuals and bulletins are no longer accessible on the samsung sites.
HP seems more clueless than us techs on this. So where is...
