there are a lot of good used canons on the market...I still have customers driving IR85 & 105's...for office use they seem to be going with 5000 & 6000.....but I have never seen a canon do a solid...
they keep people employed.....lol.....

sounds like it is off setting in the fuser....check that....confirm with a panic stop.
I find most print quality issues are delated to developer assemblys...start by checking those...and doing max set up
if you have the money go for the Oce' .....mind you the cost per print is going to hit you hard.
if you want something more reasonable....look at a good used docu print

The price....and what you get....really depends on what doc sp you are using...and where you get it from....i dont know why anyone would want to transfer it to a different machine though.....
