I have a Fiery set up on this machine with the Gigabit cable running from the Fiery to the machine & the network cable plugged into the fiery, the Fiery has a static IP assigned, copier is left on...

Yes grey Gigabit cable is hooked up between fiery and machine.
Definitely connected otherwise how could I print to the Fiery and it prints out a Fiery config page every time I reboot
