Hi!
I'm struggling with this problem since 6-8 months ago :(
Machine: C6000 (and lately another one, C7000P, from another customer).
Paper: 80 gsm (Navigator), 100 gsm (Plano Superior) - these...
They are almost the same, except the gears that drive the waste toner out of the unit; if you get the unit for C6500 and replace those gears with the ones from your C500 unit, it will work.
Ok.. So I am thinking about something that has to do with the registration section. You said you already changed two sensors, the registration motor and the ADUDB. There is a torque limiter on the...
I assume you are printing on some thick paper, from Bypass Tray? Does it do the same if you print on another type of paper? (plain, for e.g.). Does it do the same if you print the same stock from...
Hi!
I am very curious what solution did you find to this problem (if you did find any).
I have the same problem now; the machine is also C253 and the faint copies/prints are appearing randomly,...
I've seen the exact same thing about one year ago, on a Press C7000P, with IC-413 Fiery Controller. I know for sure it was a controller issue, but I don't remember exactly if the solution was...
Hi, everyone!
I am struggling to find out if there is any Part No. for the Cleaning Blade found in DU-104 (C6000/7000 Drum Units, as you know, of course).
The Parts Guide Manual doesn't contain...
I would think that there is some trouble with the "electrical system" at the machine location... maybe you should try plugging the machine into a stabilizer and not directly to the outlet..
Splatt,
You wrote somewhere in this post that you inserted a mouse in the USB port of the copier and a cursor appeared. I want to tell you, I service these machines since 2009 and honestly I...
Well, you know that those codes can indicate an abnormality not just on the auxiliary fuser roller part, but also on the main Fusing Roller too.. Did you check those thermistors too?
I suppose the...
Why wouldn't you reset it? It costs you only a fuse and I can PM you a picture of its location tomorrow, if you want..
I would vote for an electrical problem. I think a High Voltage Unit could be broken...
Should you try a firmware update?
Forgot to say, I had this error in other C6500/6501 machines too, but in those other cases, the developer was used over 200k and after the replacement, all machines worked just fine. But, again, in...
Typesetting,
I had the same problem you seem to have with one of my customers. He has a C6500 that popped that code 2454 and I struggled for hours trying to figure out why that is happening.
In...
Yeah, if you already tried a new Transfer Unit, then it might be the Fusing Unit...
Splatt, if I were you, first of all, I will try to see if those lines appear on plain paper as well as on thick paper. If they don't appear on plain paper, then my guess is that you don't have any...
Hi!
I don't have much experience with Bizhub C253/353 with finishers, but my instinct tells me, the finisher shouldn't have anything to do with the fusing unit and the problem that particular...
Phew... problem solved. It was the PS64 (I think) - Fusing Loop Sensor, located right at the entrance of the fusing unit.
But now, I have another question: How much bad luck must one have to test 2...
Thanks, Paul! Forgot to say, I have all the manuals :)
Hi!
I am really desperate.. this problem has been going on for a year now on a C6500 and appeeared today on a C6501.
What you see in the attachment appears only on 300 gsm stock. Today, the...
Yes, if I recall corectly, they are part of the transfer belt assy.
Zeldaman is right.
You have to open the right door (the big one with the registration section, 2nd transfer, etc) and have a look as the Tr Belt is in place just above it there is a metal "shaft"...
How about calling a tech on this one?
Problem solved, another tech gave me the tip - I replaced the Gear /22T on the 1st tray paper feed and it works. Maybe this tip will be useful to someone else around..
