I'd say without looking at samples that the drum needs more cleaning. I suspect the drum shell has A LOT of dried ink in it. You may have to disassemble the drum to clean out the inside of the shell....
I've had that happen to me before on a RZ1090. If my memory is correct, the power supply board is most likely dead. I don't know what exactly caused it, but my machine was dead. Good luck finding a...
Cornflower is a special order ink, there for no preset ink code. You will need to use 30 custom.
Good luck.
This is not a master making problem. A16-525 is master remains on the drum. Does the drum rotate and the clamp open and eject the master?? Check the master sensor for the drum. Might have ink on it....
Sounds like something went wrong with the download. Check the leds with the error chart in manual pg 16-13. You may need a more recent firmware too.
Good luck.
It's been years since I've seen a GR. And I haven't seen that problem before.
Do you get an error or jam code? Got Service Manual? Have you tried moving the elevator in test mode?
Good luck.
My service manager got us this black conductive grease for the charge rollers contacts, PT# D014-9800. Hope that helps.
What media mode are they running? They should be using thick 2 or 3, not envelope mode, it's not enough heat and too fast.
Yes, the ink one is inside the drum. The other is in the master making unit. Ink tubes and master rolls have a RF tag on them that the RISO reads for specific characteristic of each. If the RISO...
If you got a manual, look up where the position B sensor is. remove sensor and see if you can rotate the drum to see the tab on the drum that would trip the sensor. Put sensor back into place and...
Have you tried with a different drum? If so, then something might be up with the clamp unit. Get the service manual and look at chap 10 master clamp section. That is if your statement is correct...
RP units are Old and a technical nightmare. I hope you did not spend too much or can get your money back, T07-001 is a communication error with the digitizer CPU.
After some research, I THINK, that...
Have you tried a different clamp unit? After rereading the manual chapter 9 clamp unit, different cams are used between removal & master loading.
First though is what error code(s) are you getting? Have you tried a different drum, could be the clamp. Could be the clamp cam and or timing position with the drum. Is the master unit making a...
D04-560 = the ink cartridge tag information is not correct or communication with the ink cartridge tag failed.
First try a new ink tube. Make sure it is the correct type & color that the drum is...
I have no direct clue, try contacting RISO corporate for your area. But honestly for a machine that was released 25 years ago, listed as obsolete in 2008, I would not be surprised.
Good luck.
Not sure what your problem is here. If the #3 light is on, then either the ink tube is not locked in or the drum is not locked in. But if you are going into Test Mode and getting the #3 light on, I...
Old dinosaur. But here is an idea. (thankfully I still have a manual around)
Sounds like the impression roller might be in the up position against the drum. Go to test mode 654 and reset pressure to...
Never heard that before, but the no print on page could be several things. Since you are not getting an error code, I'd pull the drum out and see what's on the screen. Is there an extra master on the...
I don't want to know why you were in the scanner with the power on. But I will suggest looking at a parts manual and compare part numbers with what you have. I have not seen a RP in years so I'm a...
I don't think so. Could blow out a board. And I doubt the controller would understand the different scanner.
Good luck.
Check to make sure you have the grounding plate/cover on the back of the PCDU. I had similar problems with a 2503 to had lost its cover. Black prints were dark, copies were a little light.
Good luck.
The reset key is yellow and above the stop key on the right side of control panel.
Now this code means there was a overload current detected in the elevator motor.
Try turning off the unit, hold...
If the OP panel software update does not help, try the OP panel cable. Not too expensive and not too hard to replace.
Good luck.
