Have you checked to make sure your ADU is not sagging? Had older machine doing this. Noticed the ADU kinda dragged when pushed in. Turned out some of the screws were coming loose.

No thanks. I get my manuals legally
Have a 6501 with a jamming issue coming out of trays 4 and 5. The jam code is J-1607. I tricked the door open so that i could watch it run and I can see that the roller right outside of tray 5...
Whats the diffence in spec matter? I've worked on boards and if they are not the same part number, they are not the same. I wouldn't chance it either but I would love to know the results.
I agree, the 8000 is a beast of a machine with the speed and quality. But if you have enough sheets to run to keep a 8000 busy I would skip the C452. I would get the C8000 but find a really good...
The one time someone actually wanted it and he dropped the ball ;)
Sure you have the paper weight set correctly for the thickness of the paper?
Do you even read post before you spam them? ;)
Anyways found another fuse blown on the image processing board, put a new one on and machine back to normal.
Guess the moral if your getting...
This started with a string of other codes which led me to the image control board having a blown fuse (icp 1). Replaced the fuse which gets me to failing color registration.
Problem is that the...
Are you positive its the engine and not the graphics and or rip? Reason I asked I have seen similiar issues where in the pdf it looked crisp but for what ever reason because fuzy in print. Tried it...
I honestly don't know why anyone buys anything from you. Instead of being mature and explaining that a potential customer could get a better deal from you, you instead call him dumb?
I think he was talking about taking a step up ;)
What kind of finisher? Does it do it going into subtray? Looks like its after fuser.
I assume you are importing the job from another computer or a server. Try this. Go to the file location, copy the file to the desktop. Then rename the file, when I have had this issue I just added a...
Was wondering if anyone has the original version of firmware for 6500. thanks
If you can't help why bother posting.
Not true. If you do it from the I/O Check 54-09 it will not code when you do it.
Also the guys problem all depends on how old his developer is. How old the developer housing is.
Not all end...
Don't worry about it. Some people on here get upset if your not a tech because they say your taking food out of their mouth. Some don't know or care that your just trying to make a living also by...
Have you cleaned all the rubber wheels from tray 1 to where it is jamming?
Also check the motors in adu for broken wires. I had one that someone slammed the adu to hard and I guess it made the...
This has happened to me a few times. It's totally random like every 50-100 sheets. Someone told me it was charger related but the times its happened was usually followed by developer housing...
You check the one way gears in the fusing unit? I have that happen when they go bad or the shaft they are on starts to get worn. That or the bearings in the lower fuser roller.
If you compare 6500 to 6501 toner, there is a tab that looks the same but its hard to tell that it is actually moved a slight bit. Also I didn't mean slam it in with the wrath of THOR ;)
If you look up close to the neck of the bottle, there are 2 tabs on 6500 and 3 tabs on 6501. Take the bottle and jam it in the machine with just a little force. Then pull the bottle out, look at...
Did you mean TN-612? If so why would you want to? They cost more than TN610.
So I imagine that you checked the springs over the sensors since you replaced color registration. Have you tried taping them in the open position, had that happen once where i was getting that error...
