Have you tried another fuser n the machine?...
What happens when you remove the fuser, reset the code and switch on?..
If my money is on this I would say the lamp is...
Ok you never mentioned the torque limiter as these are a pest when they crack causing intermittent jams and really need to be looked at to identify,
But your issue will be one to look out for in...
Katun pcu,s are a lot cheaper then Ricoh, after you replace dev blade drum and gears the cost is minuscule when you count the service time to replace these
Replace the torque limiter and friction pads, problem solved
What toner is being used oem or cheap, have you looked at the pumps and sensors and cleaned all....
My guess is a blockage or a developer problem causing excess toner usage
Replace all thermistors and pr thermostat, and make sure the contact is correct, if problem persists try the female connector inside the machine where the fuser male connector meets, I have seen them...
Did you look through the sp modes, I am pretty sure there is a pcu replacement counter in sp5 i think and when you set it to 0 will turn off the display..

Remove all units fully, Carefully hoover out all compartments. I would ask you to start putiing each Unit in carefully and cleaning as you do. Pay close attention to the Transfer as the spots only...
How old is this machine?? Did it just stop working recently... I would be thinking about taking the finisher off the Machine to make sure all parts are present and correct... I have a feeling An...
My SM heard about Papercut, Tried it out and got all the Chiefs in UTAX using it and he thinks he is a genius because of it...

In my old job my SM would do this with the MP5500 range. He would do anything for $$$$, I could not stand him...

Some places have these internal finishers to output all copy, prints and fax's to the finisher tray and reach maximum load very quickly.... Try placing lots of copies on the stapler tray and copy...
