Have you tried crossing over directly to the M3645 to make sure the NIC is working properly? We had an install of about 50 of these and we had one out of the box that we had to replace the board.
Look at U402 before you adjust the LSU in U034.
If you set the application to run in "low resolution mode" in the get info section of the app in finder it will resolve this issue every time. Just make sure to restart the app after you change that...
Doug, they discontinued the low speed feed assemblies on these years ago. Even if you order the low speed they will send you the high speed feed assemblies for future reference.
Sent you a PM
I had this exact issue last month on a 5002I. Normally only in the morning, didn't matter adf or plate glass, and if they ran 30 or 40 sheets it would be fine until the next morning or two mornings...
Most of the time you can just go into properties > sharing of the folder in that drive and it will give you the network path with the nickname. You can always point the hostname at the IP address of...
Instead of using the hostname of "S" you have to use the nickname of that drive. Make sure you are leaving off the whacks from the beginning of your hostname as well. Hope that helps.
I've had to do an IH assy for this code on a machine that was only in the field 3 months. Heads up because the disassembly for the IH assy is not in the manual, the wires and board are not in the...
Hi guys,
I have a customer that is looking to pull color paper from the bypass tray with no printing for page 1, letterhead printed on from tray 1 for page 2, bond printed on out of tray 2 for...
Learned this one the hard way on a M3540. Go to the Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows Features On or Off on the left hand side. I'm attaching a screen shot of this menu. Scroll...
You could also try changing the preferences in CUPS. It's a Unix based spooler new Mac OS use. There are plenty of videos and instructions if you google it.
The solution before this last firmware was to turn off the motion sensor energy save. Something you could also try.
Common issue. Doubt it is the firmware. Replace the operation tablet and then do U201.
Are you printing this on a heavy paper setting? If so print it on plain paper and check the image again. Haven't seen it on an Aries yet but, I remember having to adjust the motor velocity between...
Have you tried using a crossover from your laptop yet? The controller can cause 670 and 672 on Ricoh's as well. Remember you can't get into sc mode with a 670/672 but, you can get into 1993 and go...
Make sure to clean and grease the bearings and gears on this model. Especially on the pressure roller. The MPC6000s have a bad habit of those rusting if you don't grease them properly. Just an fyi.
Had a very similar issue on a MX5001 a few years back. Had to do basically the same thing you did and this Tech Tip helped me.
I know the SR 4030/40s had a board supplier change and there is 2 different firmwares. Did you load the correct finisher firmware?
I have had what your are describing displayed when the HDD is going bad on these models. Could be as simple as re-flashing the firmware though.
You are right the 26/31 ppm have a longer shaft on the oil supply roller with a gear attached. Would be a quick way to tell the difference between the 23ppm and those.
Login as supervisor then???
Just had this last week. Its your bcu and eeprom on the bcu. Replace them together and when you do you'll have to change 5807 to 2 for English in tech mode.

I had a sales rep sell one of these to a print shop. If they are going to be doing any cutting on bled images that they wanted backed up, run away as fast as you can. You can line it up fairly well...
