Sounds like the home sensor or board. I never liked those hole punch units in the bigger finishers. They always had issues going all the way back to the Di series. Of course Kon/Min stayed with this...

The other poster is correct check that the levers on the front wheels are in the up position and remove finisher. If all else fails you can remove 4 clips (2 front, 2 rear) that hold copier to base,...
ha-ha. I hear you brother with my old eyes it is hard to see that small pic. Agree it could be developer related, especially since the black drum & trans belt have been repalced.
Wouldn't toner on laser glass cause white voids?
Even though you repalced the black drum it still looks to be the problem. Was it a genuine drum? Is toner genuine or aftermarket?
You should start a new thread specific for the Biz C250i so your post wont get lost in this old thread. Would definitely update firmware first. Dont know that model well but can you add optional...
Agree that the memory battery is bad or going bad. No need to replace MFP board. You can just replace the battery. Solder in the new battery before removing the old one. This way you wont lose all...
That is strange because once paper from by-pass is fed into machine it uses same process as paper fed from other trays. Could it be settings for 2nd side was changed in service mode, like temp, etc....
Never saw or heard of a copier with more than the 4 primary colors, CYMK.
I have seen HP Designjet printers with extra (5th) ink color, usually a different kind of magenta.
Sent both files with file service "We Transfer".
Copy just the .tar files onto jump drive.
Agree there wasn't much detail with the attached bulletin and I don't know the "i" series that well, this is why I told OP to that it has been discussed on this forum so he could seach posts for more...
There have been issues with the "i" series fuser discussed on this forum.
There is a new style fuser so if you order one make sure it's new style (see attached bulletin)
PM me your email and will send
Thanks for the replies, turns out it was the soft switch setting as suggested.
Just a thought but are you using genuine HP toner carts? I've seen these models not work after firmware update and using aftermarket toners. HP has added a block of aftermarket toners to their...
Ouch! That is strange. I would put printer on a surge / noise suppressor. Or they sell monitor that you leave plugged into same outlet and see if line voltage is issue. Hope you aren't paying for all...
After updating FW to X4 and installing movie data now the config page has "Generic 36C-9" at top. Looking at config page from wholesaler it was normal with Kon/Min at top when I got the machine. I...
Is there a way to see what LK's are installed?
Can the home screen be set to classic style permanently?
Thanks for letting me know about inbox. I emptied and should be good now.
Thanks again!
Hey I speak every language, it's called Google Translator:rolleyes:
Just bought this off lease machine and this message is showing, "The PDF / A font was not found. Please contact Service rep" Does this mean it has a License kit, if so which LK and how to get rid of...
I've had this many times. If the rear latch hook on top cover isn't broken then the rear hinge pin for top cover has come out. Remove rear cover and look where the top cover hinges and you will see...
Can you let us know the supplier? If not comfortable with posting in public can you PM me with the supplier name so I dont order PCR's from them. Also I could provide USA supplier I use for all the...
Agree about trying a different supplier. I've been rebuilding the "8" series drum units for several years now without any real issues. I always replace the drum, cleaning blade, PCR, pcr cleaning...
Are you talking about toner or image unit chips? This thread is about image unit chips so confused. Are you saying the chips are shorting out and literlly burnt? I worked on many of those back in the...
