Hi, Any thoughts as to pro's and con's of the above appreciated.
Hi Guy's N Gal's,
Anyone had experience of the new E87660DN range of A3 MFD's.
We have had another dealer go into an account offering very low cpc toner inclusive contracts.
Initially I had...
I advise against using labels, but if they do they are not covered for damage. Nice extra revenue as I know they will!
Alternatively use a cheap ink jet with warranty bought from someone else.

In my opinion, this is a cheaply build alternative to the mpc2500.
Fuser units distort, everything plastic breaks, just very poor machine, but then was sold at a much lower price.
Best place...
Service Manual on way to your e-mail, cannot help with firmware though.
Them were the days when they were just copiers, rather than MFP's or More F******g Problems!
Life would be so easy without computers.
Yours sincerely
Grump old man
Send me your e-mail and I will return attached
Get the correct paper for the job, service the machine correctly and get a customer who cares about his investment.
I know this is a highly unlikely scenario, but in the real world it would help.
SP3045 is a quick fix if you have not got a replacement toner pump, but only lasts for a while before you get errors. Also toner levels show 80-100% for all.
Enable 3045 and find out which pump is...
If your a dealer they are free on loan from Toshiba, if not you need to get friendly with your local one.
I believe it is 352_452 not 100% sure but give it a go if no other reply's.
There may be trouble ahead !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Katun best of bad bunch.
But I personally wouldn't.
Hi Neo,
I remember them, cold pressure fusing, plain paper in, fax paper out.
Them were the days we used to make real money and have time to spend it.
First copiers I worked on you never needed to replace the heater roller ( Nashua 1215 ).
Hell im getting old, but the memories holding up tho!
If you must use non genuine toners, these are the best of a bad bunch.
If you looking to save money, think again.
All aftermarket toners do not achieve the same results in any area and do long...
I was with a company that had been with Ricoh 10 years plus, but they moved to Toshiba for financial reasons, took a bit of getting used to, but in the long run was good move. Toshiba was very...
Have seen the same many times, suspect poor manufacture / possibly customer not using correct settings for type of media used.
Just buy original black drums and convert to colour.
Third party units will cost a lot more in time and effort.
On a Ricoh "working" holiday, met Bobby Robson in Portugal, he was there supporting Rui Figo's football charity, he came and asked to sit at our table as we were the only people he could understand!...
This may be a bit obvious but have you calibrated the machine?
Is fault on print & copy?
I got called to an RAF base to look at an old Ricoh copier with occasional blurred prints, it was located inside the hanger in a portacabin. I tested the machine and although a bit dusty worked...
Been asked to look at a Xerox I know nothing about. I am a Ricoh/Toshiba engineer, please help?
Customer pulled power cord out of printer during print run, now has no sign of life.
Have checked...
Check the electrical block connector on the machine that the fuser plugs into, may be a tiny peice of paper in it, or a problem with one of the pins.
Hey Gwaddle.
Must be hell, if my 1st job every day is less that 2hours, I class it as local.
We have a road in the uk called A303. if heading London bound its deffinately the road to hell.

Hi Debs,
You pass close to Torquay on your way to Cornwall, stop by and i will treat you to a cream tea, and if you are into your live rock music, this place is heaven on earth:cool:
Have a...
