Hello
Interesting issue on a 2380i
Black copying and printing working fine, single colours look fine.
But when you either print or scan using colour the text looks blurry.
I have tested...
An update, I updated the firmware to the latest and the SSD to 6.05m
I also adjust the power save options, so far do good.

Problem 1 - did you clean the laser mirrors by opening the shutter / take a look at the secondary transfer roller
Problem 2 - which Tray does it Jam from, If its Tray 1 you need to change the...
Hello, Merry Christmas to you all.
No it does not accept anything into the queue, really strange issue.

Hello
I have updated the firmware, but it seems every 2 hours or so the copier stops accepting jobs.
Should I now be looking at power saving modes / possible faulty memory modules?
Thanks

Hello
I normally lurk in the Canon forum.
I have been asked to take a look at an interesting issue with one of the rebranded Konica machines;
Every day, sometimes more than once a day the...
Which Canon Tech - does not work, every single Canon Dealer I know are dumping these machines
At this point I will just laugh and say they are unpredictable, sometimes they go at 60%, sometimes I have seen them run to 150% (I just wanted to see how long a black would run for)
and no its a complete part swap, I have tried to rebuild them without any success...
Inspect the film, you probably have a tear in it, theese fuser just love doing that on these models
I have one, count them one IRA 2020i left in the fleet, I decommissioned two yesterday and it just felt sooo good
Canon should have done a recall on all of these turds.
Hopper / Drums / Fusers...
Hello
Got a strange issue, just seeing if anyone has seen this before
Client damaged tray2, slammed it shut, tray replaced. - set to A3
On the copier it is showing up as U1, does not matter...
I have only seen this error on a faulty yellow drum. I cleaned the laser glass, set the machine to ITB / drum replacement and fitted the new yellow drum ok
Have you tried each drum individually to...
Worked fine, thanks for the help skynet
V
Thanks skynet, looks straightforward, was the SM hard to get hold of?
V
Yeah my thoughts would be the NIC, or possible HDD.
Was there a power cut, or did an end user trip over the power cable to the copier?
Have you powered it off completly, including removing the...
Your measurements must be in US? Are you talking letter, not A4 / A5 / A3?
V
I thought this would be an easy job, but no, I am struggling with it, might be a tree and forest issue :)
I need to fit a pickup roller for this machine - Canon imageRUNNER 1133 - Office Black &...
I do agree copiers should be sized correctly for the environment they are in. My issue is that the consumables do not at times even run to 60% of life, drums are the most prevelent, but I have...
The drums are crap, the machine is crap - flimsy with cheap plastics
The drums are inconsistent, I have not figured the drums out myself as of yet, there is no explanation, I just take it up the...
Hello
Most people on the forum will try and assist, note to previous child posting.
Lets talk about the lines first, there are four drums in this model, BYCM, typically fine lines on the page...
Thanks for the info, looking at the service manual there are 2 sensors regarding the waste toner.
Really odd, I just emptied it out of the input and tried putting it back in, is it measured in...
Hello
Hopefully a really simple issue, I normally work in the Canon forum.
Can the waste toner bottle on these models be emptied and reused? I have tried this and the machine will now not...
Does that mean I get upgraded to like Jedi Master now or what?
V
Sounds like a faulty drum motor, straight from the service manual;
E012 Drum motor error
0001 Lock of the motor fails to be detected 2
sec or more after the motor starts to
operate.
