You have to replace the pressure springs in the fuser. The spring part number and proceedures is on Sharp IDNC-Service.

Sorry, once the crum chip has been shorted, you can't reset it...you'll need a new bottle.

I agree with blackcat.....it is a primary transfer belt cleaning issue. Along with what he said, check the units auger coil to make certain a bit of paper/label didn't get caught in it.

Is the pressure roller flat spotted? I had a machine do this before and went away after I replaced the fuser at PM.

I had several machine with this problem. The best fix I found was to reduce the DV bias to -500v +/- 50. This has worked on 470, 480, and 240.

If you can access the user guides from the web page, it does take you through the steps to set up groups. It has been awhile since I set up groups, and have to use the manuals to refresh my memory.

The TB you quote is for the AR PNX1 A/B/C/D. This is for the punch unit in the booklet finisher. The part #s for the harnesses are:
OCW1020K375// ASM I/F Harness or
OCW1020K374// ASM Power Harness

Look at your charge corona and grid. It sounds like the unit is dirty and arcing. Clean the grid with alcohol and restring the corona.

I had this problem awhile back.....I replaced the DIMM 4 memory as I was advised by my Field Rep. I got the DIMM from Memory Experts and it fixed my E7-06 error.

Recheck and reseat your FAX ROM. If that doesn't fix it, reseat the DIMM in slot 4. My tech rep had me replace the DIMM in slot 4 because of several units with the same issue. I hope this helps.

Clean the oil unit or replace....those machines are a pain in the rear end!

A silly question.....is the paper size properly identified in the machine? ie A4 or 8 1/2 x 11 ??

Have tried cleaning the printhead LED's? I ran into this today doing a calibration on a AR-BC260. If you re read the message, does it say "calibrated failed, patch cannot be printed, Use 11"x 17"...

Don't know if I'm going to be able to fix the fuser noise....it started after they dropped the machine, and I have installed a new fuser with no change.
