I've got two copiers with ceramic toners too (clc1100 and clc700); I spent 4-5 years in studying guides and manuals. Lots of my problems were so simple, I would have spent too much money calling...

I imagine all drums of my old CLC's are a little bit :) mud;
CLC 700 (1) = 152K
CLC 700 (2) = 86k
CLC 900 = 158K
CLC 1100 = 142k in use w/ceramic toners
CLC 700 (3) = only 6K !! in use...
