Apparently mac can print via the generic PCL driver.. So after all.. you may not need postscript if your printing from mac (OSX 10.5 and later)

i never got to go back to see the customer, however I spoke with the Tech who did, and he mentioned he simply cleared the code with crop 14.
And it 'fixed' it.

The trick is to make the section of the sponge your using slightly damp. give it a few seconds to soak in and then rub away.
