We have faffed about with changing the internal gammas in the machine side of things before, don't do it. It's too easy to blow out other colours, and suddenly you have other users at the client site...
if you are handy with the @remote website, you can get your machine networked up in the workshop, set up @remote and push out a firmware update which will happily churn away while you do something...
After nearly 7 years in the industry! In a month I will make the transition from exasperated tech to shithead client. It's been nice working with you all. I will be happy to never have to take a...
Check that the K transfer cam on the ITB is working properly.
I've seen this exact error when the SMTP server is dropping the job for exceeding the file size quota. I think by default for IIS it's something like 20mb.
I don't think the 201 will support the TLS/SSL requirement for Gmail.
I have found PDF's slow printing for the following reasons:
1: 'Ricoh' Class Driver (I refuse to believe Ricoh would publish such a horrid driver)
2: WSD Port instead of TCP/IP (Normally is...
If the client is big enough, this may be a good chance to look at some automatic slitter/cutter/creaser options that are about, we have a few DUPLO machines in the field that are pretty neat.
For most machines in the field now a firmware update will rectify any lingering SC899 faults related to printing.
The SSL warning message is to do with how data is transferred between your browser session and the machine on the network, in theory someone could packet sniff any folder passwords etc that you were...
Sometimes I have to log into the account on a local computer, Gmail will often then provide an alert about a blocked login attempt. Often after resolving this it seems to work. I have also seen cases...
Couple of notes when using the inbuilt PS emulator:
Some fonts are not included within the clone postscript, if you send a job with one of these fonts in it, you will get an error message on the...
Bumping this thread because I am looking for a solution for the same issue. The sales team are selling the OCR units hard over here, must be lots of margin in them.
We have clients with OCR...
There's no HDD out of the box on these machines, the Address book data is stored on a part of the internal memory.
Can we all just take a moment to reflect on the badness of the new Ricoh screen apps. I find functions like "Quick Copy" and "Quick Scanner" Ironically slow and clunky to use.
DFU to me always meant DONT F***ING USE
In light of recent ransomware being spread by SMB v1 I would have a very serious discussion with the client and/or their IT before just jumping in and re-enabling it.
There are firmware updates /...
You can use a B224-2042 as a color PCU in the C4502 if you shave the connector on the rear of the drum, and remove the steel bracket and pin from the back of the machine (sturdy tin snips)
You do...
It depends
If it's a genuine failure, we eat the cost
If they had a series of outages, brownouts or lightning that damaged the HDD or other equipment in the office, we would likely pass the...
Ricoh Japan must be made of money!
I have grown to hate adf free run, because it lies to you. It does not run the adf at full speed.
I have had several issues where the adf will jam, where it can't be reproduced in adf free run....
Since it was a client power cut I'd be suggesting an insurance claim......
If you are using the B224-2042 on an MPC2800 up to a C5501 you need to swap the wires on BLACK ONLY. We also use them on 02 series black, but don't swap the wires.
An expensive service call! Hope you saved all that other stuff you pulled out.
If the print jobs are vanishing, the machine is expecting the print jobs to be authenticated correctly and they aren't.
