Anyone else see ripples in the belt towards the rear side that eventually lead to the sleeve being ripped in half? We also get c472 and even a message to plug in the power cord at the rear of the...
C471 has been a nightmare lately. Mostly the 85/75ppm machines. We have lowered the fuser temps with little success. Happens most often after a fuser rebuild. We have installed the new thermostat...
time for an upgrade, machine is 15 years old.
This series has its share of issues, hdd failures, toshiba used self oiling brass bushings ( read self seizing). they are in the exit, transfer belt assembly, bridge units etc. Dev units seize up,...
Honestly I wouldn't touch one of these boxes, probably in the top 3 worst machines ever made. If the copies look good now they soon wont. Faulty dev units, pcus that slit transfer belts every 20k,...
There are several bulletins on this error code, we had a machine pop this error a few days after install. We replaced the op panel, controller board and op panel cable and the machine didn't...
I second the bad sensor, stamped Sharp 73 then the lot number on the opposite side. If the lot # is A18 then all the sensors should be replaced in the machine. I believe there are 25 in an ex-mash...
You need to use Toshiba drives with wipe technology. They are expensive and fail daily. Also before you update firmware on the newer machines you should check 05-9065, if the value of c5 is 1 or...
We see a very high failure rate on all Lexmark toners, all in one's, new machines etc. And yes the supplies have to be rma'd to the supplier but they really don't want them back as they probably...
there was a bad batch of sensors that Toshiba got from Sharp. If you look down from the top of the sensor you will see 3 tiny circles with a letter followed by 2 numbers. A18 is the defective lot. ...
there is a tsb for this issue, an updated LGC board is available. Also be sure the machine doesn't have the defective a18 sensors in it.
I've had luck just running 05-290 when these machines get light copies.
We use 3M vacuums, they are a bit noisy. Only use it on Ricoh calls, worst toner dumping machines ever made.
You need to check the lot number on the sensor. If you look down from the top of the sensor on the opposite end of the white connector the lot # is stamped in 3 circles. You'll need good eyes or a...
Its definitely the sensor - it is inside the transfer belt unit. There was a bad batch of Sharp sensors and Toshiba used them everywhere. The failure prone sensors are lot # A18. A 3540c machine...
[QUOTE=ReproKev;501255]Went back today and replaced all dimm's and boot rom, hdd and main con 2 (right side as seen from rear) with parts from a working c5045. Exact same problem, no fix.
I'm...
I would have the power checked, these advance boxes need pristine clean power. Bad power seems to cause strange problems, sometimes clearing the dc controller or reader controller will solve some.
I would check the port and make sure it is he IP address of the copier and not WSD port.
I just looked at the specs and an mpc3554 weighs 150lbs..... Wow
The mpc3503 is 90lbs lighter than an mpc3500. Lots of plastic and any metal is paper thin. Don't strap them too tightly if you use a moving van to transport them, you will bend the frame.
We see CE71 on the machines that have the defective Sharp sensors in them. Not sure if its isolated to Canada only but its been a big problem up here. The EX Mash machines have 26 of these sensors...
All manufacturers are making their machines lighter and more Eco friendly but the new Ricoh boxes are unbelievably flimsy. Just look at an Mpc3503. The plastics are thin, the metal is no thicker...
Green? You need an adf feed clutch - you must order the whole adf, just toss the old one out. Oh I see the "green", the adf costs $600.oo lol
I would try 08-1119
