The Xerox reps in this country set me back so badly with their incompetence that it was difficult to bounce back even when I finally got my machine back up and running by myself, stupid price only...
I'm out of the digital printing business for now and wanting to sell my PWS, the specs are as follows:
Laptop:
Sony Vaio PC6-9P6M
Pentium 4 - 2.GHz
512MB RAM
Windows XP
Good thing I showed you the TRC control ;)
I'm looking for the best price on DC250 toners and other consumables out there. Get in touch with me on "sales@gb-images.com"
Thanks Duanew, I've changed the fuser motor and that does seem to have sorted most of the jams. I'll look at the 2nd BTR detack, toner build up is a nasty thing, just been having jams in the fuser...
I did but that didn't sort it. I've now changed the fuser motor and am still observing whether this has fully sorted the problem, I'll update when I'm sure.
Many causes indeed and many possible solutions to try out. As I don't see my exact symptoms there I was rather hoping someone might recognise my problem and point me towards something more specific I...
I'm getting a lot of jams in or near the fuser with a 10-105 code and when that happens the paper isn't always in the fuser, sometimes it stops just before or just inside the fuser.
It never...
I have a DC5252 that I'm breaking up so if anyone is interested in bits off it please let me know.
On my 2060 the fuser web has started to get wound around fuser heat roll so that it comes out between the donor roll and the pickup roll. This hasn't happened before but I've had it happen twice in...
I have the better part of a 5252 for spares so I'll get the 2060 up and running and I plan to keep it that way for some time:)
I've finally got to the bottom of the registration issue, this is what I did:
- Changed cyan dev housing - no change in registration problem
- ran Max Setup, no problem but no change in...
Just that the kind of mottled effect I see on his scan looks very much like the problems I see on my own DC12 when one side of the fuser isn't giving enough pressure
I presume that's an A4 printed LEF so that the problem is inboard to outboard? If that's the case you may just need to do a nip adjustment of the fuser by the looks of your print. Otherwise do a max...
I still have the above problem, I can print maybe 100 sheets then get a cyan background that starts faintly and gets heavier and heavier until I run a max setup and tone down the cyan (using dc922)....
I've had similar issues in the past on my 3535, a couple of things to look out for are the drum chip and/or the bias to the drum unit.
Have you tried switching drums around to see if the problem...
I don't have a 7665 but I did once install the driver just to see what options it has compared to a Fiery. I just checked and there is no limit in the driver at 99 pages, you can type in 1000 and...
The 7665 isn't controlled by a Fiery so I doubt the above would help. However, in the printer driver you can go to the "Advanced" tab and choose "Setup" in the "Output Options" and you will get the...
As I don't usually get many constructive replies to my ongoing DC2060 issues I'm assuming you guys are as fed up as I am with them;)
I still have colour registration issues but as my spare parts...
Actually the problem is still present and I continually have to tone down in max setup, now it's mostly prevalent in cyan.
I do though I do regularly switch between EA and EA-HG toners but this hasn't been a problem in the past. This started happening when we replaced some dev tanks.
But it looks like the problem is...
I've done that now, it still progressively tones up, particularly Magenta
I haven't but I will do that as we have been changing developer housings. Was hoping not to have to dig down to the dev tanks.
Hi,
My DC3535 keeps toning up (overtoning) by itself, particularly CMY, so that every few hundred prints I have to run max setup (dc922) to stabilise the toning. Any clues what might be causing...
One other issue that I'd love some feedback on:
When I put a drum in my cyan developer unit it becomes really hard to push back in fully to the point that I can fasten the screw on the drum...
