we are seeing the same problem , and also on the new black and white 03 range as well , we have tried all sorts of fix's , "tweaking" the input guide on the finisher sometimes helps but not always .

Hi .. i dont think its printer driver ect related as it does it in copy mode as well !! i am sure all the fuser bits have been replaced , i will go back through the service history and check .
I have an issue with a Ricoh MPC2550 , when copy or printing it sometimes delays , just sits there for ages ( min's ) before doing anything , i have tried firmware , memory , hdd to no success...
