Always turn a machine off before working on it. Cars too:D!
Is that a pic or a scan. I am asking because of the edge erase?
I think you will get this code when the comb electrode behind the fuser gets dirty also?
The directions are in the manual.
I had one giving us this code, I determined that it was the power supply. I think it had a cold solder joint. Replace it and let me know if that fixes yours.
Sounds like a laser or connector issue.
Great! We were able to order the BP-FB702. With this fuser, I do believe that it is best to order the fuser, instead of rebuilding, but we have 2 BP-LH700's that came in a couple of months ago. ...
In the setup instructions there is a procedure for tightening the screws. I would start there. How about the fuser? Is it getting hard to turn?
We also had a lot of issues with the 5071 fusers failing early. The BP's have been working better, but we still had 2 fusers fail at less than 10k prints already.
Yes, we were confused then gave the run around, ended up getting a new fuser with pn DUNTW1250DS18. The 18th version? hopefully this one works better. The two that failed ended in 14 for the part...
Has anyone rebuilt one of these fusers yet? Is the belt kit a BP-FB700?
We have a few. No issues yet.
I know that Kyocera is pushing dealers to sell these, but I do not think the product is ready yet!!
I am tryin to delete the customer data from a C759, is this what i need to get into service mode? what do I do from there.
I have a MX5071 that has been having noises coming from the fuser. Is there a solution to this? Is anyone else having this problem?
Kyocera is the best overall copiers and printers.
I will still use them to see if the fusing rollers are worn or not.
I have a C70 that I have to clear all the data from the machine before I send it back to the leasing company. Is there someone that can give me the steps to do that. I am not trained on Xerox. I have...
I have not had to hire someone for a long time. What job site is the most popular for hiring now.
How long are the fusers lasting? How many prints?
The short answer is, the bearings are made in China.
Check the drum counter. Did it reset when you replaced the drum? Did you have the machine off and unplugged when you replaced the drum?
Sorry if my solution was not clear enough. I do not log into the site very often. I have been working exclusively on Kyocera for over 20 years.
Yes, I have seen this. Replace the transfer belt and the drum at the same time. The belt is arcing to the drum, so the belt is bad but now it took out the drum.
Yes there is. It is in the system menu. I think it is called something about "reset repaired something"
