Yep that machine has a 4 color on a rotating cylinder. Each toner cartridge has its own chip. Faulty chips occur very rare in some cases. Just clean/wipe the chip with a cloth damped with alcohol....

Yep! It's very possible.All Riso inks are compatible with other Riso models..The problem is that you have to transfer it manually.

Which of these 2 machines have an edge particularly on image quality & all its features?

all i know is that kyocera is only good in personal use.they have A4 size copiers that have high speed but the drawback is that the machine & toner is expensive compared to develop.:)

BW, colored & any range of the cpm.. As long as it's for personal, moderate or heavy use.
