Errr.....no memory percentage display in the fax screen.
How do I access SP 801?
Do they have one? I had a look at the boards behind the rear panel and couldn't see a socket for one.
67 now and haven't seen a copier for almost 18 months...........bliss! :o
Please be gentle with me as it's been 18 months since I retired and I have forgotten so much (a lot of it deliberately!)
The old faithful SPC 252 died so I upgraded to a SPC 252sf that fell off...
Not to forget polishing selenium/arsenic drums without gloves either. Not dangerous at all, after all, only one of the kids has got two heads...............!

My sons now 45, I don't think he'd appreciate being dragged away from his nice clean management job to spend the day with me getting coated with toner.

Well that little exchange brightened my day up, makes a change from people with thick accents trying to convince me that my internet is about to be disconnected. I smell a scam!
Very basic and don't play well with 3rd party software. Heaps of firmware updates but as they fix one issue its more than likely to introduce a new one.
C/Q is very average, we have lots of problems...
This week it is the HP P777 Pagewide injet A3 series. Launched buy HP two years ago to revolutionise the A3 copier market it failed spectacularly.
It only had half a brain, could never work out...
Three cheers for Zed, his bloods worth bottling!!
When around at a mates house, wait until he is out of earshot then ask his Alexa for a very loud 2 am wake up call.
Looking forward to being an ex-technician, now on the downhill run to retirement :o
Angry customer " .....and I'm a personal friend of your MD......"
"Well that denies that rumour" says me.
Fortunately the MD never worked out who the tech was.
Customer; Why does this piece of crap keep breaking down, I paid $15,000 for it!
Me, Funny, they usually sell for $8,000........................
Then keep out of the salesman's way for the next...
