Thanks blackcat, but it was a dodgy thermostat on the fuser. Kept needing to be popped. No idea why it was giving the above error, replaced and working fine now though.

No. Short answer. These can be used with or without a harddrive, so its just for storage and address' if anything at all. Bit of a waste of 120gb
