Re: Sharp MX-B401 fuser seating problem

A lot of the return springs for the fuser drive do not get replaced, it may take some finess to install fuser unit. You might try a spring hook, or small flat blade to hold up drive gears to install.

    Re: Smoking?

I had a 2 pack a day habit for 25 years until I had surgery, and the hospital would not release me until my oxygen level was at a good level; about 3 times the normal recovering time. I tried the...

Re: Skewed copies on a MX-654N

I agree that the scanner lock-screws be reapplied after testing and adjustments before transport. But, I believe a major cause of skewed copies (not prints) is caused by user resting their weight on...

    Re: Sharp FX-18 Finisher problem

I don't have access to IDNC any longer, but I remember firmware for a finisher was different (sometimes) depending on what model it was connected to. So, if you update for a model, it may not have...

Re: that time of year again

I am going to expand this cheer to include most, if not all, religions - "Happy Holidays"; sorry, if this sounds too PC.
  11. Re: don't you hate when people improperly use your tools?

A co-worker 'borrowered' my cordless (while I was on vacation) ran that battery down, than used the spare battery until it was dead - the little fart didn't think to put either of the batteries on...

Re: Which manufacturer coined this term?

I'm sure this will be blamed on 'climate change', and the rising sea levels.😉
  13. [Electrical] Re: MX812 Testing and Replacing Operation (control) Panel.

I was referring to a new un-used pwb that had not been initialized by a normal power up sequence. Sorry, for the confusion.
  14. [Electrical] Re: MX812 Testing and Replacing Operation (control) Panel.

The main pwbs, and operation panel will be 'married' to the machine if powered up normally. To test pwbs, power up in 'diag' mode - press and hold the 3 and 6 (to be safe, I held the two buttons...

WOW, time to move on Phil, if the situation allows; this type of work is not good for your mental wellbeing.

If you haven't evacuated, or relocated - don't sleep in that master bedroom.
  21. Re: What is the dumbist customer comment/question you've heard?

Well, I did service a copier at a 'Blindness Aware Center' once for a CQ problem - it looked fine to me.😉

    [Misc] Re: MXM264 fax issue

A memory clear, might take care of this problem. See if you can print out an activity report.
