Re: Repair Guy Uses Tons of Paper

You may want to include some military personnel. I had one dude on an air force base attempt to remove a jam by pulling all the trays out of a older multi tray finisher and left them in a stack in...

[Misc] Re: MP C3500 Error Messages

An issue with any one of the pdcu connectors will cause this. Did you mess with any of the PDCU's previous to the problem?

Of course they do. Mo money for them, and I bet an entire fuser assembly is expensive.

Normal SP access for this model is clear modes>107>hold down on clear/stop.
  8. [CQ] Re: Ricoh MP6001, double-sided copying ( Single pass Document Feeder )

I had a 2nd side CIS blur on this exact model. When I inspected it, I found some sort of greasy lubricant coating the rear side of the assy. Cleaning it took care of the problem. Also, make sure the...

    Re: MP3054 Disordered image

I think you may have 2 tiny people living inside the machine that are missing their right hands. Definitely a problem.:) I seen this a few years ago on a B&W 2075, although the dark blur was imaged...

Re: SC 370-02 in MP C3503

According to the Troubleshooting guide, if your getting a sc370, engine firmware must be at 1.25.08 or higher. A sc442 indicates engine firmware needs to be at 1.31.01 or higher.

Ok, thanks for the replies. The machine in question does not have postscript, so the Ricoh app may be the answer. I will relay the info to their IT guy.

    Airprint

Hi, All. We just upgraded a c3300 to a c4503 at a school system. A teacher that uses Airprint said she was able to print to the c3300 from her tablet, but not the c4503. We have never supported...

If it's a knocking noise, you may need to replace the sponge rollers on the finisher lower tray. I have to replace them CONSTANTLY.

Re: Which manufacturer coined this term?

Well, the internet says "charlie pants" are a woman's high water pants. Not a clue as to what that has to do with a copy machine.

  24. Re: cant find the hard drive info on my parts manual???

A model number would help. I looked at the c5502 PC and the HDD is listed on the controller page. If your machine does not have it listed there , it may have been an option (and an old machine).
