    Interesting Problem on C3503

Long-ish Post, but bear with me.

Had to help a fellow tech yesterday that was stumped on a machine (Ricoh MP C3503). He had some lines showing up on the printouts, but only on a certain paper...
  3. Re: Savin 9050 keeps asking for toner even though there is plenty of toner in the bot

If you have 40 minutes to spare, there's a decent video on youtube that will show you the Maintenance Procedure and where to find the "waste Toner" and such for this series.

    YouTube

    Also has...

Re: mpc3004 printing in TAS software

What Driver are you using? The New V4 drivers have not performed very well for us. And the "Ricoh Class" or "Universal" Drivers are worse. We try to stick with PCL 6 whenever possible. And maybe a...

[Error Code] Re: SC672-12 on MP C401

Sometimes it's the USB cable. Sometimes it's the op panel itself. Sometimes it's the controller. Other times it's the MBU on the Fax that becomes "un-seated" (this seems to be the most common).

Had one recently that would still squeak without ITB and such in it. Turned out to be Waste Toner Bottle. Hope this helps.
  9. Any Gear-Heads here? (and not the plastic kind)

Just curious as to how many of you out there are more than just "copier techs". Is anyone else in the line of fixing, restoring, or building cars/motorcycles/trucks/ etc.? Got a favorite project?...

Okay, so life of the parts may not be an issue if it's only 30k, but can't rule out early failure of units. In the quote you say, image on drum and ITB is even/ good.??? In the second picture you...

+1 on Dev. Unit or Shield glass. The bottom part that's faded could just be from overhead lights during skyshot.

Re: Ricoh MP C4503 C5503 C6003 wax lubricant bar

It states in the PSG or Service Manual that if you don't adjust the springs for the lube bar, then the PCU's expected yield will be 1/10th of what's stated. In the 3003 3503 models, the manual will...

Do you mean MP 4500 , B/W machine? If so then you have to go into Service Mode and in the 7-xxx section there will be counter resets.

The "2 tray paper feed unit" is not interchangeable between the two models. And I do believe they use different cabinets.
