    Re: 5550ci takes 5-mins to make 1 copy ?

Appreciate the feedback. Did you find any foreign material in/on the non-contact thermistor?

    Re: 5052ci preprinted perforated paper

As per Blackcat, I’m thinking change of orientation. If the perforation is from front to rear then that is really going to mess with the buckle. Also will depend where the perforations are. A 180...

    Re: F60A codes

For us it is only reporting in KFS and not at the machine panel, so clients are unaware of any issue.
Just a KFS communication problem that I suspect will be resolved with firmware.

Thanks for the update. Glad you got there in the end. From my experience, memory is a rare failure, but you never know what will happen when wiring is chewed! Well done!

    Re: 3252ci Wrong Paper size

Just make sure that “Choose paper source by PDF paper size” is NOT ticked. This will over ride the print settings as it prioritises the page size of the Acrobat document. Always choose actual size...

Custom boxes can be exported via Net Viewer but not the contents AFIK. Contents can be downloaded separately though. Might be time consuming.
  10. [CQ] Re: Kyocera TaskAlfa 3050ci - Colors Denser Near Edges

Ok. The machine has had a HDD clear done. You’ll need the tech to reload the colour tables for you. This is done via USB. They will know what to do when you book the call.
  11. [CQ] Re: Kyocera TaskAlfa 3050ci - Colors Denser Near Edges

You have to have the machine in copy mode.
Press 10871087 without pause. That should get you in
  12. [CQ] Re: Kyocera TaskAlfa 3050ci - Colors Denser Near Edges

In test mode enter 485 then “start”
Go into setting mode and Colour Table 1(prn)
If default it will be on KY
    Try KO
    Exit
Restart will be requested when set.
The change will be immediate but...
  13. [CQ] Re: Kyocera TaskAlfa 3050ci - Colors Denser Near Edges

The only thing that may give you better colour matching will be changing the colour table to the Konica Minolta table. This is done in U485. Saturation will also be greatly improved through the use...

We had two 8000i’s that did over 10million each in three years.
Main cause of jams on both that were unrelated to feed rollers was the bridge units and the motors that drive it. Changed several....

    Re: 5550ci takes 5-mins to make 1 copy ?

Remove the fuser and check the non contact thermistor in the middle at the bottom. It’s not unusual for scraps of hard toner to drop in there blocking it and causing such delays while it tries to...

Re: km 4500i doc feed jams

Does it jam because it is trying to pickup/ feed paper that is no longer in the RADF tray? There was a change to the shape of the “paper in” sensor some years ago due to the lever hanging.

    Re: taskalfa 3500

There is a small EEPROM (YC14)that must be swapped with the boards. This has serial numbers and life counts. Otherwise will be fine
