    Re: FS3040 Paper Meandering

It's a known issue. Pull the center gear out of the cassette & move the left guide in one tooth & reassemble. Guaranteed to fix it.

    Re: DF-7120 J6511

Playing around with one at our shop, if I make changes in U246, then test in U240 as it says in the manual, I don't see any difference in the guides.

  3. Re: Kyocera/copystar developer question please.

They are separate issues. Do all the updates on the 2551ci's regarding the DV units & transfer belt waste auger system.
The 406ci, I just replaced a DV unit yesterday for that. It was actually about...

It doesn't print the email body, just the attachment.

Re: Kyocera Ta 3501i New Fuser issue

No problems at all with this series. Sounds like they're duplexing heavy stock or something incorrect.

    Re: 8001i J42xx

I'm with Geo in thinking it's a combination of events that lead to this. In the event of a jam, which is displayed on the op panel, all power to motors should be cut off. Also, opening a door should...

[Electrical] Re: Ta2550ci error code c7620 and c7601

If your density is not good, which it's not, you'll never get rid of the ID sensor errors. The sensors aren't seeing the patches, therefore can't perform any process control functions.

    Re: 8001i J42xx

Thanks Wragsdale. Reading the description of that PWB, that would make sense. I'm curious why it clears if it's not a firmware issue of some sort. I would think if the front PWB needed replacing, the...

    8001i J42xx

I've had about 5 different 8001i's (latest firmware) give me this jam code 42xx at different times. When it occurs, removing the paper will just jam again until power is cycled. Even opening the...

    Re: Kyocera - Fleet Services

You have to call Kyocera & have them do it. If a machine was previously registered, you can default the settings in U520, but if the installing dealer never deleted it from their account, Kyocera has...

Re: Copystar CS65501 gets stuck in processing

Fuser is the easiest to try. After that, I've had a couple of them run really slow until I replaced the HDD. I don't recall them showing a jam code though.

Clean the white roller. It's what the CIS looks at to do white reference. If it doesn't see the white level it should, it disables the CIS,

But the charge rollers in the 250ci-500ci didn't have near the problems. The firmer material seemed to last much better IMO.

Replacing the toner cartridge should take care of it, preferably OEM. There was a thread on this a few weeks ago.

You probably know this, but running either 8-1/2x11 R or on heavier paper will remedy the issue.
