    2 MX-2310U with 2 Different problems.

    Hi Guys,

    (Machine n° 1)
MX2310U in field that is cleaning trasfer belt, every 5/10 prints/copies.
I already changed it without success. Machine is working fine, the only problem is print speed that is reduced by trasfer cleaning.

    (Machine N°2)
    Colors are not aligned.
After SIM 50-20 and 50-22 is ok
After 10 Days we are back on the trouble. Values are wrong and need to be re-set.

Any clue for this 2 inconveniences?

    Thank you so much.

#1 Is this using plain paper from a paper drawer or a heavy stock paper?

#2 This is usually caused by a transfer belt issue or the resist sensors dirty.

#1 -is it coming out of a lcc? If so, it could be the feed clutch in said lcc.
#2 - possibly the primary transfer drive gear.

I thank you all for your help,

#1 (paper with only default drawers) They use plain paper, but maybe the worst paper quality or recycled paper, I will inspect this.
#2 I will check this out. Machine is in my lab, so easy to check. I will follow up to help others.

    Thank you

I had this problem recently and it turned out to be bad paper feed rollers causing bad timing. Mine was from the drawers of the machine but I found a bulliten also for this problem when using the lcc to change the registration roller timing in the sims to fix it. Mine I put new rollers on and fixed it.

Another thing that can cause the fault with your second machine is bad black developer. The copier cant calibrate very well and the colours run out of alignment.

    Thank you everybody,

    Problem
    - #1 seem to be bad paper. I will keep in mind your infos.
    - #2 changed secondary belt (was broken) and belt cleaning blade, cleaned sensors. Machine is in Lab, will be back in the field next week, I'll keep you informed.

    Ok, back again with #1

Even after using good paper the problem wasn't solved.
I didn't try to change feed rollers (they seem ok), would you be more specific about timings issues, because, if timings is wrong, should be not working even after correcting values isn't it?

I attach picture of sim 50-20 values. Before and after regolation by Sim 50-22
Thank you so much for your help.
