Sharp machines curling paper
I look after a number of mx2310, 3111, 2314 machines and a common complaint I am getting is that the paper comes out curly. I've tried turning the paper over and even using better quality paper but it seems using 80gsm standard copier bond paper these machines make it curl on exit.
Am I missing something?

Re: Sharp machines curling paper
Just normal white plain copier paper. I've tried 5 different manufacturers and the results are the same

Sounds like paper moisture.

I would agree but I've seen this problem at 20+ customer sites with these machines and they all can't be suffering from paper moisture

could be the heat on the fuser temp is a little to high have you tried adjusting the temp or replacing the fuser?

I haven't adjusted anything as yet. I'm going to a new mx2314 tomorrow which has about 1000 prints on it and the customer has complained about paper curling out of the exit. I will try lowering the fuser temperature

There is a bulletin about the paper curl and fusing anomalies for some of the machines you are having issues with.
It has a very helpful graph for the range of adjustments to the fuser.

I have seen the same problem on MX-2301/2600/3100 machines here in UK.
