The H3 message is for an abnormally high fusing temperature. The thermistor has probably built up with toner and is giving bad readings. Try resetting the code first, then clean the thermistor.

How many copies on the fuser? It may be time to replace it. Check thermistors and lamp and thermostat.

Now would be a great time to open the phone book and dial up your local copier professional. If you don't know what the fuser looks like, you're going to need more help than we can provide here.

you a Salesman or a Tech...??

If it's getting too hot ~ H3-00, then the Heater Lamp inside the Fuser is working fine....but the Termistors, which control the Temp/Lamp are not....

    Think before you post.
    regards
