    MX-FR10 ( security kit) questions

I'm looking at purchasing a couple of Sharp Copiers, MX-2600N and a MX4101n, both MFP's contain security kits(MX-FR10). What are my concerns as far as a third party purchaser? Will I have issues accessing any of the simulations? Will I be able to access the address book to enter names and emails? Will I any issues accessing the MFP as an administrator to make any changes I need to? Basically, will I have full access to the MFP, like I would with one with no security kit?

    Thank you in advance.

You really shouldn't have any issues. It doesn't change anything as to log ins or getting into simulations. Should be able to access everything just like normal unless the previous client has changed anything but that's true with any copier nowadays.

    Good luck.

Thank you, I was able to purchase them and have no issues with admin access or web administrator. I bought these at a bank action, both super low metered under 50k each, great buy.

AFAIK the major difference is with the firmware. The security kit uses special firmware. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
