The only time I have seen this is because of a bad print job holding things up or the copier is looking for a different size/type paper than is in the machine.

Bad memory could cause this. Sim 60 to do a quick check.

When this happens on Canon MFPs it usually means that the exposure lamp is not reaching the proper intensity. The copy paper sits and waits at the registration roller for quite a long time, the machine displays "Copying", then eventually shows as a paper jam, but it's not a paper jam. The scan lamp never reaches intensity, and the original is never scanned. It can be because the lamp ends have blackened, the environment may be very cold, lamp contacts are arcing, lamp heater has failed, or lamp heater has rotated to cover the intensity sensor.

I cannot honestly say if that's what's happening on a Sharp though. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Disconnect the network and fax cables.

Cycle the main power to the machine.

Run sim 66-10 to clear the memory.

Try making a copy, if you can copy then reconnect the fax cable.

Try making a copy, if you can copy then reconnect the network cable.

If unable to make a copy after reconnecting the network cable you have a bad print job coming in or something on the network is sending something other than a print job to the IP address of the copier.
