Good Afternoon;

Having a strange problem with the Sharp MX 5111N with a FN10 saddle stitch finisher that has me stumped.

Let's start with the fact that when I was installing this unit the finisher fell over which presented a few problems such as sensors out of place etc. I fixed all I could find and all error messages (F1-34, F1-08, F1-19) are now gone. The machine boots properly and prints great. I put everything together said good bye to the customer and off I went. I was called the next day.

The only problem is when you print or copy more than 6 copies the finisher appears to try and shift the pile of paper and when the next sheet comes out it fanfolds and then the next one runs into it and we have a jam.

I have run tests on the motors in the finisher and everything seems fine.
If I run 6 copies everything is good, run 7 or more, prints 5 and number 6 screws up. I ran 10 and after the screw up at number 6 the rest seem to want to print fine if I quickly pull the fanfold # 6 out.

Any ideas?

Thank you
