    Scan to copier

    Hello

I am trying to scan to the copier on an MX2614 which works, but when I then save the file to the PC it does not save it as a PDF, how do I change this?

I can change the file formats for the image send defaults... but not this.

    Thanks

There is a box that you need to check when you scan that allows PC browsing, it is right next to the destination folder location. Then it will save the file as a PDF on the HDD. You will also need to map the drive on your PC/MAC to be able to access the HDD (this requires a settings change in your security settings (don't have the exact info handy at the moment). If you are going to the main folder and saving file to your PC then it is in .bin format.

    Good luck.

Do you know if there is any software out there to convert or open this .bin file?
