    You need to replace the transport roller in the attached document. It shrinks in size and the paper buckles slightly and toner, little by little starts rubbing on the guide. Thatís why it takes a while to start happening. Already replaced the rollers on 6 machines and so far so good. See attached.

    As stated earlier, I would change the transfer roller, but there were also a few bulletins about the developer unit dumping developer. I have replaced the developer unit on a few higher volume machines due to this, and the newer developers seem to be sturdier with the updates.

    Yes there are Tech Bulletins to updated DV units and Transfer units. Also we found that roller 6 wears down allowing the paper to rub against the guide and build up the toner. Replace roller 6.
