    very light copies

    I have a sharp AR5518 with very light copies I changed the developer and cleaned the mirrors but still copies are coming out fenty what could be the problem

    Did you try changing the drum, sometimes on these light copies is the drum
    When I started servicing copiers they used toaster ovens for fusers.....I'm old

    Also check to see if the machine is set for photo or text copy. I had a machine yesterday that was giving light copies but good prints from the computer. Turned out it was set for photo copying.

    I've also seen the photo mode cause light copying, but toner save mode will also cause light output.
