I compared the parts lists and everything appears to be identical except the heat roller, pressure roller and pressure springs. Does anyone know if this makes a huge difference. I have dozens of 275's but only about 3 208's. Thanks.

I wouldn't think so..... I use the fusers for the AR 152 in a AR 168D with no problems and like with your example, if everything fits, use it.
I'll have to differ on this one. The AR-275, AR-M275N, & AR-M208N all have slight variations. I haven't tried swapping them, but I doubt that they'll fit up. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I had no choice but to try the 275 fuser in the 208 and it seems to be working fine. The thermistor is the same so I suppose that the temp is also the same. If there is a pressure difference I can't tell. The toner is the same so fusing performance should be also the same. Anyway, thanks for your input. I will repost if anything develops.
