Re: MX-3610 scan to folder win10 issue
Check for SMB in services that is enabled, check firewall, antivirus...
For scan to email try with gmail account

Re: MX-3610 scan to folder win10 issue
Do the latest firmware update. Newer versions of Windows does not support SMB1 due to all the ransomware issues last year. The latest firmware will allow the copier to use SMB2 and 3.

Re: MX-3610 scan to folder win10 issue
Add a new address book (Network Folder) and tick Set as default box and check if this helps.

Re: MX-3610 scan to folder win10 issue
Hi Ivan,
You have probably checked this, but just to make sure:
1. You cannot use 8.8.8.8 as a DNS (for scan to folder) because it will not resolve local host names. If you are using local host names you have to use the DNS address from either your DNS server or the router's address.
(You can test for this by using the PC's IP address instead of the PC's host name.)
2. As someone mentioned earlier, make sure you don't have any third party programs blocking the file transfer i.e. Norton, McCafee etc.
3. See if you are able to ping the computer from the copier. To do this, open the web interface and go to network>protocol. You will see a IPv4 ping command there. Try to ping the PC.
4. Make sure Network Discovery is on and that File Sharing is also enabled on the Windows 10 PC.
5. Make sure that you ACTUAL share name is the same as in your address book. Folder name and share name are not the same.
Try all this and please let me know.
Good luck!

MX-3610 scan to folder win10 issue
I agree for all items.
For dns 8.8.8.8 maybe work when you enter in root of folder ip adress instead host name pc (not sure 100%). If I catch some time I will test today. Also, in cmd enter ipconfig and you will get required data (dns).
