HI all we have a Sharp MX-3140 that after exiting simulation, will not come back to ready. Display stops at please wait. If we manually turn power on and off copier will recover.
Earlier this month we had a MX-2615 that was dead except for green led and cooling fans. Display was black. Machine recovered after reseating MFP board and mother board. Not sure what to make of that one, any comments are welcome.

I'd update the firmware, may be the beginning of an SD card failure.
Also can be due to a firmware update that was partial, if they were upgraded recently and anything was missed or not included by the run all option. Can cause problems.
Hi thank you , firmware was the first thing that i tried. Reseating MFP board seems to have solved the problem.
Never hurts (much) to run through the gamut of stupid things

You are exactly right.
True, but having gone from working with/maintaining an acid plant to dealing with copiers, these darn things are sensitive lil turds to me at least.
