MX-4070 with Saddel Stch Finisher Jamming
OK had this machine running with no issues. Customer wanted a saddle stitch finisher. Installed with no issues but customer started getting jams after a few days. Paper seems to be folding after fuser and paper exit section and hanging up on the diverter gate in paper pass unit. Those that don't jam have quite a bit of curl to them. It happens less with letter R. We are returning to do Firmware update and bringing some good quality paper. Customer is using paper from Sam's Club and it has been very humid around here.
Plus it appears I can no longer spell or type ;-)
Any thoughts are appreciated

Try this..
SIM 43 – 01 Select the SW-A....Decrease the Fuser temp by -10 and then scroll down to FUSING CONDITION Adj and set to 2. This should cure the curl issue.
Also...check for the modified sensor springs in the Bridge unit..

As with others, 99.99% certain that it's the sponge rollers.

Re: MX-4070 with Saddel Stch Finisher Jamming
Sorry for the delay getting back to y'all but the sponge rollers were removed for the inner finisher and are still off for the Paper pass unit.
The solution was replacing the Fusing rear paper guide unit. I cant see the issue with the unit but replacing it solved the issue. As always thanks a bunch for your input.
