    Mx-3110n copy quality

Hi guys.. been trying to get copy quality to be good on this machine.. change developers, drums, cleaned lsu, cleaned scanning unit.
Been done the simulation service sequence in changing developers and drums. From 25-02 up to 46-74... But still same copy quality problem.

I've checked the transfer belt its clean and all good

Heres the original... And the lighter one is the copy...

Any inputs will be highly appreciated. Thank you!

How old is the primary transfer belt? It may look good, but they do lose the bright colors just from age. Just my two cents!

    Good luck!

If prints are good and only copies are washed, SIM 63, run the SIT chart and white shading adjustments with the proper calibration sheets.

Hi 46-74 service or factory? did you try both.

make copy on single color, are they all washed out or not?

    Good luck.

    Re: Mx-3110n copy quality

This is copied from a Sharp tech tip. Make sure to do step 8. Hope this helps

    4) Perform the Copy/Printer Color Balance and Density Adjustment (Automatic Basic Adjustment) SIM 46-74. Refer to the Adjustment section in the Service manual for details.
Note: The adjustment results become valid only when both adjustments (in the Copy and in the Printer Mode) are completed. Be aware that after the last printout has been scanned, and the “OK” button is touched, you will have to touch the “Execute” button one or two more times to complete the Calibration (if this is not allowed to go through completely, the Calibration will not be satisfactory).
    5) Perform the Printer Color Balance/Density Check (SIM 64-5) and make a copy of the Color Test Chart {UKOG-0326FC11}.
    6) If copy/print quality is acceptable, you are finished with the Calibration Procedure.
    7) If copy quality is not acceptable, set the Factory Mode to a new definition (DEF1 (default), DEF2, or DEF3) with SIM 63-11 (Copy) and SIM 67-26 (Printer). Refer to the Adjustment Section in the Service Manual for details.
Note: If you choose a different DEF Target, repeat Steps 4 and 5.
    8) Copy the Color Target Data from Factory Mode into the Service Mode.
    SIM 63-08 for Copy.
    SIM 67-28 for Printer.
This step insures that, if the System Administrator chooses to perform Auto Color Calibration (which references Service Mode), the Color Balance should be acceptable.
    9) If copy and print quality are satisfactory, you are finished with the Calibration Procedure.

It's better to test another transfer unit from a running machine. Did you try to Misfeed and check if the image in the primary transfer belt is solid?
