3/4 of image like a 1890's pointillism painting

MX-4501n. New transfers primary and secondary about 10K ago.
The scanned image has details on it. Scanned image is a "sky shot" just so can see issue more readily. Issue happens with blk or on any of colors (i.e. single cyan print etc.). Happens with both copies and printed. The scanned image lost a little of the effect but still shows issue.Stumped since only on about 3/4 of image. Customer says at first only about 1/4th of page and had crept to 3/4.
DId also check varied contacts for transfers as well as bars under belts properly mounted.

That narrows it down to one choice: Secondary transfer proximity. Nothing else explains it. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

That was first area I focused on. 1. checked belt wasn't partially contaminated. 2. checked holders, connectors, contacts. 3. looked for cracked areas that may allow uneven contact.
All I saw where OK. 2ndary was replaced within last 5 K , while main transfer was replaced about 10K ago.

BlackCat, any thoughts on what I might have not checked. TIA!

I think that I already know the answer to this question but I'll ask anyway: If you were to emergency stop the machine on a full page composite black image, then remove the primary transfer belt, how does the latent developed image look? I'm guessing it looks good up to the point of secondary transfer, then you'll see a larger percentage of toner left on the primary charge belt at the front or rear.

I enjoyed your reference to Pointillism, by the way.

Will check out as suggested. Also will take a used 2ndary.
Yeah the pointillism was the closest I could figure to describe it.
    Thanks again!

Thanks Black Cat. Yep. 2ndary tranfer failed after 8.75K. Can't figure out what's wrong with it but put in a used one and that corrected issue. SO will order in another new one.

Mis-typed - actually 2ndary failed after 4.75K. A used 2ndary corrected making good copies again. Took "new" one apart, couldn't figure out what failed about it. But yipee. Problem solved.

I've had a couple servicing endusers use an orange oil based cleaner on the 2nd transfer roller. It transfers poorly when an oil base cleaner has been applied. On a rubber second transfer belt you can wash with alcohol. The foam second transfer rollers could not be saved.

    Congratulations. =^..^=

I'm not sure if you can do anything about it. The picture is really old.

I won't argue. Working with this old pictures is very challenging, yet it is not impossible. So forgive me if I'm wrong, and correct me. I believe that there are many tools that allow us to correct all imperfections and to maintain a good quality of pictures, don't you agree? Indeed, many cheap interior painting services are printing high-quality pictures that fit the whole wall, but this is totally different. So don't assume that something is not possible, only if you cannot do it! Hope that this will intrigue you into further research!
